Preparations for the 2008 Moscow Gold Standard Vendor Award ceremony are well underway. Nominations are already open for this years awards and vendors of many different sectors will compete for these accolades.
Last year saw local General Contractor Gint-M and British-owned IT vendor Trale win Gold Standard Awards for their exemplary service to clients during 2006-7. This year the invitation to nominate has been widened considerably to include a wider spectrum of Moscow end-users. We stress: this is not an inward-looking industry award – it is an award to recognise, on behalf of tenants themselves, excellent service by a vendor company to those tenants, on a consistent basis over the period in question.
Architects, design engineers, general contractors, IT vendors, security and AV vendors and moving companies, together with all other vendors involved in the construction and fit-out process are eligible for nomination. Votes will be gathered amongst the end-user and project management community and the results announced at the Awards ceremony on 18th September, 2008. The countdown begins!

It has recently come to our attention that two ex-employees of Sunbury Heights in Moscow, both dismissed from our Russian company due to misconduct in September 2007, have been contacting some of our clients making allegations against other individuals and practices of companies within the Sunbury Heights Group.
These two individuals, Mr Stephen Newman and Mr Robert Carey, sometimes going under the company name Q1 or Q One Project Management, are the subject of investigations and/or legal proceedings initiated by Sunbury Heights in both the UK and Russia.
Sunbury Heights Group would like to state that there is no truth in any allegations being made by these two disgruntled ex-employees and that any information as to their activities in relation to the companies in the Sunbury Heights Group (allegations, claims, illegitmate approaches, use of Sunbury Heights tools and documents) should be passed to our lawyers, for the attention of Mr Tom Walker at Colemans Solicitors in the UK (Tom.Walker@colemans-ctts.co.uk). Such information will be treated confidentially and permission sought before use in ongoing legal proceedings.

As part of its mission to support community events, Sunbury Heights has sponsored the Moscow Broomball League for the first time. Broomball is a winter sport played primarily by expat teams and is modelled on ice hockey.

In a first for the Russian market, Anglo-Russian PM company Sunbury Heights has launched a secure project extranet facility, allowing all it's clients to monitor their projects online in real time through a simple web browser interface. Launched in cooperation with Seattle-based project automation developer eProject, the site revolutionises PM work and provides a secure hub for all project communication and documentation.
Speaking at the launch, Sunbury Heights Director Mark Smith said, "The new extranet site will help us further satisfy customer expectations, and provide a further mark of differentiation in an increasingly mature marketplace".
